SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage is a deep form of soft tissue mobilization and can be applied in a sporting and non-sporting context. Sports massage is typically used to treat sports injuries or injuries that are located in an isolated part of the body but is not limited to that. Often, such concerns are long-term as a result of over-training, trauma, muscle imbalance, or poor biomechanics. Sports massage aims to aid recovery, reduce the risk of recurrence, or assist with performance ahead of an event.
If you suffer from any type of chronic pain such as lumbago (lower back pain), adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), rotator cuff pain or injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, this treatment is perfect for you.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down adhesion and relieve pressure points throughout the body. A deep tissue massage is similar to a sports massage, but is less focused as deep tissue massages are usually performed across larger areas of the body, or as a full body massage, to relieve muscular pain and tension. This type of treatment is indicated for both athletes and sedentary people.

Relaxation massage

Relaxation massage is a smooth, gentle treatment that relieves muscular tension, increases circulation, and promotes a general sense of relaxation. This massage is performed using long, rhythmic strokes and small circular movements which help to break down adhesion and promote better circulation. This treatment is typically administered across the whole body.

Neck, back and shoulders

This treatment is focused on a specific area of the body and is particularly beneficial for people who sit for long periods of time (ex.people working in an office). It involves a variety of techniques both relaxing and remedial to relieve stress, improve mobility and reduce pain.

Indian head massage

Indian Head Massage is a relaxing treatment applied to the head, neck, shoulders and arms. It reduces muscle tension, stimulates circulation and helps alleviate headaches and eye strain. We use a specific connect-in technique which is applied to the shoulder, neck and arms, mobility work on the scalp and acupressure points on the face and ears.
